Dancing in the Clouds

Written for First Prompt Unofficial Vocal Challenge

I've watched the rain

Hit the window pane

Hour after hour

I've pined to dance

In the clouds as they advance

Oh, what it would be

To feel the mist

Touch my face

And to pirouette

As they drift by in the sky

So, I painted myself

This little dress

Light as a feather

And filled with magic

To spin me into the clouds

Where I'll dance

'til my feet are tired

When I float back down

Drenched in dew

I'll spin my memories

Into a fairy tale for you

Thanks for the First Prompt Challenge! Hope you enjoy my little entry!
