Dancing Beyond the Shadows

Conquering the Fear of Looking Foolish to Unleash Authentic Brilliance

By Mubashira KachhotPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the theater of life, a poignant act,

A fear takes center stage, a daunting fact.

A specter named "judgment," shadows cast,

The fear of looking foolish, a tie steadfast.

Yet, within this stage, where shadows play,

Boldness craves its unscripted say.

For the fear of looking stupid, a binding chain,

Hinders the dance, stalls the daring refrain.

In the gallery of fears, this one takes flight,

A hindrance that veils the courage so bright.

But consider this truth, whispered and true,

Greatness emerges when vulnerability is in view.

The canvas of brilliance is painted bold,

In the strokes of daring, the stories untold.

For each stumble and every awkward art,

Conceals the masterpiece, a courageous heart.

The fear of looking silly, a phantom's guise,

An illusion that blinds, veils the wise.

In the arena of growth, where wisdom is sown,

Embrace the awkward, let courage be known.

For wisdom blooms in the garden of mistakes,

And resilience, in the risk, undertakes.

To break free from the fear, to spread your wings,

In the face of judgment, let authenticity sing.

The world may scoff, the critics may jeer,

But the one who dares, conquers the fear.

For the fear of looking foolish, held in chains,

Is the very echo that innovation restrains.

So, cast off the cloak of judgment's sway,

In the light of authenticity, make your way.

The fear of looking silly, release its hold,

For in vulnerability, true stories unfold.
