On a throne of velvet red, so plush,
Sits Queen Daisy, ruling with a royal hush.
Her crown gleams gold, her eyes say “Bow,”
She’s fluffier than a feathery cloud somehow.
She SLINKS, she STRUTS, a vision divine,
A cloud of white with a gaze so fine.
One flick of her tail, one slow-motion BLINK,
And hearts collapse before they can think.
She lounges—oh, such effortless grace!
A masterpiece draped in a VELVET embrace.
The diamonds behind her? Mere props in her scene,
For Daisy alone is the star, the QUEEN.
She purrs like HONEY, SMOOTH and SLOW,
A siren’s song in a feline show.
Yet cross her once—oh, pity the fool!
She’ll cut you down with a stare so cool.
She plays the game with artful EASE,
A temptress wrapped in a furry tease.
One paw extends—a whisper, a LURE,
A promise of touch, soft yet unsure.
Come CLOSER, she BECKONS, her eyes aglow,
But just as you reach—ah, what a SHOW!
She TURNS, she FLICKS, she LEAVES you undone,
For Daisy, the Queen, has already won.
No cat compares to this royal heir!

‘Ruling with a royal hush’ boy do these words sound good together 😍 I love the description of the cat’s appearance as ‘cloud of white’ it’s very fitting. I like the downplaying of the diamonds in the back, to bring our attention to the Queen herself, the cloud of white. ‘A siren’s song in a feline show.’ This has got to be my favourite line. I want to scream because it’s so darn good! Her personality came through perfectly near the end, ‘she turns she flicks and leaves’ assertive and every bit of, cat! Daisy the queeeeen 📢 I loved it Komal, such a fun read, I liked getting to know queen Daisy 👏🏽👌🏽♥️🤗🌼
