In a meadow of green, where wildflowers bloom,
Hops a fluffy friend, in the softest plume.
Ears that stand tall, like petals in the breeze,
A cotton-tailed ball, so eager to please.
A nose wiggles, twitching with delight,
In the golden sunlight, oh, what a sight!
Tiny paws patter, a dance on the ground,
A cute little rabbit, joy all around.
Fur as soft as a cloud in the sky,
Whiskers that tickle, oh, my, oh, my!
Eyes so bright, like stars in the night,
Reflecting curiosity, pure and light.
Beneath the moon's glow, a secret burrow,
The cute rabbit dreams, tomorrow and tomorrow.
With a thump of happiness, a furry embrace,
In the heart's meadow, a beloved trace.
So, here's to the bunny, both tender and small,
The cutest of creatures, most cherished of all.
In the story of nature, a whimsical vibe,
The cute rabbit dances, forever to thrive.

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
