Cursed

A Poem

By A. RussellPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

What's worse?Catching this curse?I've got a disease that no doctor can nurseSee me riding the back of a hearseI reacted adverseThe dreams got perverseAnd I can't reverse this, I'm fully immersed!I'd give it all, I'd empty my purseKnowing I wont get reimbursedKnowing he cannot be coercedSo I pour the thirst into my verseI skirt around, can't converseNo matter how much I do rehearse. What's worse?Catching this curse?Or accepting you are my Universe?
