The sun shines dazzling gold through the trees,
Where breezes whisper in frosted dreams;
Little white crystals sparkle on the ground,
peppermint ice baked all around,
Frozen ferns in the trees,
Winter's flowers,
Anticipating summer dreams,
The grass crunching under my feet,
Reminds me of those childhood mornings,
Walking to school with my fleet!
I stop and gaze into a frozen puddle,
Where I see my childhood self;
These are crystalized treasures of memories past,
Seeds of history sewn into ice,
Remind us that these are our
Precious moments built to last,
In the sun of winter's first,
Frosty morning.
