With pincers strong and armored shell,

The crab, a creature, does excel.

A king of shores, a sandy throne,

A creature feared, yet all alone.

He scuttles sideways, swift and fleet,

A master of the sandy street.

His eyes on stalks, forever keen,

A watchful guard, a watchful scene.

He burrows deep, a hidden lair,

A sanctuary, safe from care.

He feasts on scraps, a scavenger's delight,

A creature of the sea, a curious sight.

With colors bright, he blends with sand,

A master of disguise, a cunning hand.

He fights for territory, with might and main,

A fierce protector, of his domain.

Yet, beneath his armored shell,

A gentle heart does often dwell.

A creature of the sea, so wild and free,

A symbol of survival, you see.
