World is so cruel,
Injustice stains every soul,
Hope flickers, then fades.
Children weep in pain,
Wars consume, hearts break as one,
Peace remains a dream.
Nature's beauty lost,
Polluted skies, dying seas,
Life's breath slowly fades.
Greed and power thrive,
Innocence is sacrificed,
Love's light grows dim.
Yet, amidst the dark,
Kindness shines, a glimmering,
Seeds of compassion.
In the face of strife,
Humanity's strength emerges,
Resilience prevails.
World is so cruel,
But within us lies the choice,
To heal and to love.
