Creativity is Way of Life
And I am proud to practice it regularly
Creativity has been way of life
since my early days —
and it continues to be.
I find joy, escapism, and confidence
in pursuing art and crafts.
Each nook and corner,
of the humble house
has my handmade décor —
often frugal, or repurposed.
Collage, button, pressed flower,
framed cloth, acrylic, watercolor
garden flowers, to photography.
I have explored cloth, wood, canvas
pebbles, clay, paper to glass.
They are slices of bygone time,
they make the house a home
with their warmth and uniqueness.
They impart solace to my heart,
and am glad to find an antidote,
against all pains and stressors,
in the pursuit of creativity.

Love your work and poem. I am more of person who does needlepoint and with leftover thread make something else. Latch hooking rugs and things and saving the extra yarn pieces and making something with that. My sister had leftover yarn from afgans and now will make what I call a yarn sculpture that is actually just one big afgan.
