Creative Storm
A poem about the mind of a creative
A storm brews quietly,
not with thunder or lightning,
but with sparks that ignite and fade,
leaving trails of unspoken worlds.
In one moment, a vast ocean rises,
waves crashing against unseen shores.
In the next, a delicate thread weaves patterns
too intricate for words to hold.
The mind of a creative is a wilderness,
untamed and boundless.
Ideas bloom like wildflowers,
fragile and fleeting,
yet rooted in something ancient,
something eternal.
It is both sanctuary and battleground,
where doubt whispers in shadows,
and hope answers in light.
Chaos dances with clarity,
each step shaping the landscape anew.
Time bends here,
stretching into endless possibility,
folding into a single moment of focus.
What is imagined transcends what is seen,
for the creative mind is not a mirror—
it is a prism,
splitting the ordinary into a spectrum
only it can name.
And though the weight of it all
can sometimes press heavy—
the unfinished dreams,
the unmet expectations—
it is also the place
where impossibility becomes art.
This is the mind of a creative:
a paradox,
a symphony,
a flame that never dies.
