Damn! This is powerful, and it can be interpreted so many ways, depending on the person looking at it—like an ink blot. I’ve legit asked someone this before. So this resonated with me hard. I knew I was a rebound, and he was my rebound. I wasn’t sad he didn’t love me. I wasn’t even emotionally available. I was ‘craving intimacy’ without all the effort of building and maintaining it, and just wanted to feel good for one night. So my interpretation of this poem is that it’s incredibly hot. Sex for the sake of sex, and the self awareness to know what she wants. Being 100% in the moment, not thinking about her future or past. Nice and slow to extend the ecstasy. Bravo! 👏🏼 Haikus truly are your thing.
