Sipping cherry wine,

Leftovers from the red fall,

While snow is falling.

The water's surface

Is calm, just like a mirror,

And reflects the sky.

The white winter moon,

Like a cradle in the sky,

Or a grinning cat.

Snow gently falling,

Just like glitter from the sky.

Such a peaceful sight.

Sipping hot cocoa

While looking out the window.

Quite toasty and warm!

Laying in the sun,

Hoping to fend off the cold.

Kitty is happy.

The sun shines brightly

On a cold and quiet world.

Tick-tock goes the clock.

Gathered family

After many weeks apart

Is a splendid sight.

Family dinner

With turkey, stuffing, gravy

Is good for the soul.

Rocking in a chair,

Warm cat purring on my lap.

This is happiness.

A happy day off,

Spent with friends and purring cats,

More precious than gems.
