Courage is a thing of tomorrow,

Harvested by despair.

With palms outstretched and inviting,

But concealed by the tear of fear.

*

When its apparel is bright and colored,

it flees my holes of need.

And when it blends in shadows,

it foolishly awaits my oblivious plead.

*

Like a seeking of a blue bird,

chasing an invisible sky.

Unreachable, an emotion to the vision,

but somewhere, I won't deny.

*

O, tomorrow, meet me down the path,

with no time eligible to adapt your name.

Courage, you won't defy me now,

you cannot hide with a worldly fame.
