My horoscope says to count the petals on a flower,

to recount the old saying, play the old game

they love me, they love me not.

My horoscope says to stay open,

to practice loving other humans from a place of honesty,

that this is commendable,

but I do not want the back and forth or guessing games,

and today is not a day for repressing or cleaning up;

I choose to believe that is more than literal.

    Wow! Superb Girl :) This poem takes the classic horoscope and flips it into a mini-rebellion. Instead of sticking to the usual “count the petals” love games, the poet decides to ditch the guessing and choose real honesty over clichés. It’s like they’re saying, “I’m done with playing by the book—let’s go deeper.” Refreshing and a bit daring!
