Corruption in the morning
Morning's Dark Embrace
By Moharif YuliantoPublished about a year ago • 1 min read
The dawn breaks, a promise of a new day,
But shadows linger, where corruption plays.
Bribes whispered low, deals sealed with a nod,
Justice twisted, a mockery of God.
The morning sun, a beacon of hope, shines bright,
But its light is dimmed by the encroaching night.
Power wielded with greed, a heavy hand,
The innocent suffer, across the land.
A cycle of darkness, a vicious game,
Where corruption reigns, a shameful shame.
Yet, in the hearts of the just, a flicker of light,
A beacon of hope, shining ever so bright.
