Cool nightime air

Fragrance of flowers

By Sarah Fiander HarrisonPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

The scent of jasmine on cool night air,

Splashes of colour everywhere.

Rhodedendrums of every hue;

Even the sky is bright pink and blue.

Along every stretch, around every bend,

The vastness of beauty, it just doesn't end.

The fells watch over the shimmering lake;

I stare intently, this view to partake.

I've longed to return to this wondrous place,

And feel the sun upon my face.

But cool nightime, I love the best.

In this place, my soul can rest.
