Conversations With Everyday Elders
Everyday Native American women that is...
I have a book conversation tonight
I am excited as they have been just right
conversations with everyday women
about their life today and their past plight
I may not be happy, it doesn’t include men
but maybe next time I told my husband
~
For my event, I might include a band
of women and a fashion show of sorts
of days gone by and they would all be sports
Beautiful photos of them of all kinds
their art on display for all the minds
to see and enjoy, maybe some grinds
it isn’t all upbeat and joy, just some everyday fun
I won this contest with the best of all the rest, Hon.
~
Okay, that is on my mind today and I can jest,
it may be many possibilities, this was a test
of one or two ideas, there will be many by years end
and who knows, I may not finish this project by then.
So what did you think of the photo above
Could it be of my elders and me Love?
I don’t think so, but you never know
I have training to do, so it's time to go!
