it's real

heresy

my love

split between

flesh and spirit

I have friends

who are everywhere

at once

nowhere

and also sitting right there.

I bleed red

I bleed blue

I bleed white

and yes, for Heaven's sake

I bleed black

I have scars

from bearing

Evil Insanity

and when the time came

we cast it into the pit

it's real

heresy

God knows you can believe the Bible too much

I believed the fuck out of the Bible

And it destroyed me, remade me and destroyed me again

The Bible is a seed that God plants in your heart

And what comes up is a mirror that mostly tells you what you want to hear

Only the magic of the Spirit can make it show anything useful

it's real

heresy

The whole Trinity is on my Google Calendar

I don't want to forget any of them, but to be honest,

I often do.

it's real

heresy

is it heresy to love the gift more than the Creator

the curves of hips have always compelled categorically greater worship

than anything found in church

but somehow, I think God understands this

And made it that way on purpose

About the Creator

L.T. 'syreal' Jones

I'm a poet first, but I love to write prose to explore more the topics of spirituality, mysticism and fantasy. I want to usher readers into wonderful worlds that they can't imagine, only to be inspired to imagine more.
