Comprehension

Because life was never meant to be easy

By Marcus HillPublished 5 months ago 1 min read

Solving the solution

to a false problem

spins the world as we know it—

creating war

in places meant for peace.

Strange, isn’t it?

That even through pain,

the smile never truly leaves.

The dying man

finds strength to smile,

comforting those who watch him go—

a bittersweet grace

only the heart can feel

in its last seconds.

The cloud of sadness is heavy,

but the power of love

can stitch a broken heart—

and what is more poetic than that?

We spend lifetimes

avoiding hurt,

instead of making moments

that leave God speechless.

Every day we are free—

not because of wealth or status,

but because we can still smile.

Death is easy.

Living is hard.

Carrying pain is easy.

Choosing love and forgiveness is hard.

Always choose hard—

it makes life easier.
