Our community
is our home.
It’s everyone’s castle
to roam around in.
It’s everyone’s world
to survive in.
Strangers
can be the best companions.
They can teach us things
we’ve never known about.
They can become
our new mentors.
Emporiums and cafes
can become our new safe spots.
They can be our new places
of escape and security.
They can be a centre
for discovery.
Libraries and community centres
are public kingdoms.
They’re our very own
intellectual, mental and physical playgrounds.
These sites of wonder
are built to give us magic.
Gardens and parks
are our paradise.
We come here
to bathe in flowers and forests.
Nature is the best way
for us to psychologically detox.
Employment is freedom;
it liberates us from poverty,
depression, anxiety and boredom.
Without it,
we cannot move forward.
Without it,
we would be financially famished.
