Communion
More than Sensations
Photo by Andre Hunter on Unsplash
Soaring soprano notes of a hymn spreading wings
Words brushing my tongue that generations have sung
Aged paper and a hint of my neighbor’s coffee
My eyelid curtain closed, revealing the unseen
Gripping the pew for the stirring beyond my cells

The fourth line is excellent DK, especially with the contrast between closing and seeing. Love the setting of this one, as it's sensory but might not jump to mind for lots of people! Congrats:)
