Coming Home

If home is where the heart is,

I don't know where I was living until I found you.

They say home is the house you live in,

But I lived there for a while and never quite settled.

They say home is where your family is,

But my family is spread across the globe.

They say home is where you feel comfortable,

But I could never figure out how to relax.

They say home is a place you make your own,

But as a child it was theirs not mine.

They say home is where you move to be,

But was it my choice or theirs?

They say home is where you're meant to be,

So I guess that's why I'm here.

If home is where the heart is,

It makes sense I never felt at home,

Until I met you.
