where the sun shines bright
and the stars dance all night
your heart feels every beat
and you have time to breathe
you’ve come home, to be set free
spinach pie and dark chocolate, the nights consist of
shared by the fire with the ones you love
all your worries will be just fine
nowhere else to be in this present time
you’ve come home, to free your mind
supported in every step you take
worthy of every moment in place
spiralling around to land back on the ground
the birds are singing, making a new sound
you’ve come home, you’ve been found.

Killing him slowly
There’s an intruder in my house again. He stumbles through the door, wet carrier bags in hand. He’s bought me offerings. I show my appreciation, letting him caress my beautiful body. He wants to touch me. I rub myself against his legs. He sighs, dropping the bags. He can’t resist touching me. Running his hand slowly down my spine, I arch my back towards his caress, let out a low purr. It’s what we both need.
