A poem that provides me comfort

Comfort is my warm cozy bed,

Filled with soft blankets and fluffy pillows to rest my head.

Comfort is a hot cup of tea,

Brewed to perfection, wouldn't you agree?

Comfort is a worn out book,

With bent pages for your eyes to take a look.

Comfort is a long phone call with a friend.

Talking all night, hoping the conversation never ends.

Comfort is your favourite meal,

Eating endlessly, food that tastes unreal.

Comfort is a long hug from someone you love,

It feels so nice to be beloved.

Comfort is a lounging around in a pair of ratty sweat pants,

Walking around with my hair in a nest of rats.

It's easy to live in comfort, especially when you're damaged beyond repair.

I live for thise little comfort moments, I am aware.

What brings you comfort on your days of gloom?
