Comfort Morning

Finding a day

I can breakfast at my own pace

late morning into lunchtime

staying in my pjs

writing as I please

and it pleases me to

add a twist on a character

I actually never have

thought of before

even after all these years

Eureka!

I have finally learned

their true purpose

or genuine motivation

and it feels like today

might be the day I finally

get my book written

but that either way

I have a cup of coffee

and with a slow but fruitful

start to the day

it will all be absolutely or

eventually be okay.
