Comeback

This is a poem for all who have experienced writer's block.

I wrote and I wrote,

Till I could no more,

My voice felt stolen,

My words forlorn,

So I left on a journey,

Dwelled deep in my mind,

To find my lost self,

The one that'd been my guide,

I searched and I searched,

Alas, there was none.

Why don't you go outside?

Do things you haven't done,

I did it all, and there was a lot I learned

But nothing could light the fire,

That had once burned,

Then one fine day, I went into my room and just sat,

With my hair in my clutcher and my laptop in my lap,

I wrote and I wrote and now you read this piece.

A solemn note I penned, to all those who are lost,

Read it once, read it twice, there's a lot to unpack,

This is my comeback poem,

It's good to be back.
