The thought of colours
Dance through my mind.
Flashes of pink
Sky Blue and earthy browns.
Greens of trees walking through a dappled forest
As I relax on the patio with my eyes closed
The day being too bright
I hear waves crash on the beach,
Imaging the blue grey of a disturbed sea
Darkening the white sand on the shore.
The rainbow coloured monkey
Given to me on mother’s day by my daughters.
I wonder at it all,
The imagined colours in my mind.
As I open my eyes and see.
What little I can is all shades of grey.
I am grateful however limited as my vison is.
There are many that have none.
