Colours of Introspection and Outrospection
Short Poem
By Esther WildePublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

Colours make me feel inspired & ignited,
They fill me with words which I must say,
Yellow shines like golden diamonds,
And chases all the blues away.
Orange tastes like a sherbet lolly,
& red can make you faster with a shopping trolley.
Green and brown invoke the forest,
Making me thoughtful and a little more honest.
Yellow, white and peach make a pretty sunset palette.
I give myself time to reflect on life and set goals which I can manage.
Grey and black are actually shades but don't let that hold you back.
Mute your tone or hide your colour,
If you're under an attack!
Introspect or outrospect while you sit and just be you,
No matter how often you go chasing rainbows, it's still an important thing to do!
