Remembering backyard adventures

As kids laughing on the lawn

Sailing through the years together

Until every moments dead and gone

They're chasing me again tonight

Those ghosts of past, forgotten lives

As the moon rushes through the open window

The breeze rustling in the trees, invite

The memories to creep, here, in the shadows

Hangin on to those used to be's

Those smiles tangled up inside my mind

Missing those fragile, missing pieces

The ones we always leave behind

What I would give, to take me back

Just drift away in used to be

Jump the cars on that playback track

Back to the me I used to be
