I imagine gravestones
The color of rainbows.
Red, orange, yellow,
Blue, green, indigo.
The violets, they grow
Amidst the resting souls.
Once bright explosions,
Now food for the Earth.
I remember the ways
They once reflected light;
Processing energy
Like prism designs.
By the boulevard of death
I sit with the stones.
Bring life to the page
As do colorful rainbows.
The way beauty
Arises after the rain
And flowers bloom
Over bodies
Now passed away.
Tis a Circle this life
The way we feed our connections.
From black to white
And all the wonder
That fills the spectrum.
