Color Me Beautiful
The Uniqueness of me is Reflected in my Inner Rainbow

For so many years, I saw my reflection as black, not knowing that I was seeing what void of color people reflected back.
The color of my skin defining what others see as my character, was never even a speck of color on my real nature’s picture.
I am golden as a sunset on a late August day, bringing lights of hope where pools of doubt lay.
Rather than curse the darkness, I’d worship a single drop of light, where many see might not, I always see might!
I am red as the blood of life, when my passions are put to test Fierce, relentless, fighter for the weak, condemned, and oppressed.
"If we stand for nothing, we fall for anything", allowing suffering, will to ourselves suffering bring
I am as blue as the skyline, and vast as any sea, I don’t see the singular human, I see humanity.
Destruction is not exclusive, it’s belongs to all, if humanity is not united, humanity will fall
I am as pink as a cheek blush, and warm as an embrace. My daily goal is always putting a smile on someone’s face.
Laughter bridges gaps, and spotlights our common flaws, unites our inferiority, and puts hate on pause.
I am as green as a grass blade with empathy for the dirt. Recognizing other’s pain, empathizing their hurt.
I want to make the world a colorful place, in everything I do. Whether big works or small gestures, we can work to make it true.
I am as gray as time, and maybe a little more wise. Ambassador of humanity behind human eyes.
When I see something wrong, I try to help or speak out. Fighting and caring for humanity is what being human’s all about.
I am as purple as my imagination, and regal as royalty. I am a walking rainbow, beautiful, colorful “me”!
