sitting at a faux wood desk
barely big enough to
accommodate my frame
crossing out colors on the
bossy art instruction sheet
replacing them with
my own swatches of fantasy
retrieved each corresponding
waxy pigment stick
childish styluses of wonderment
color-by-color
I filled in the matrix
to my own inscrutable ends
the others lost in a Crayola haze
gasps and giggles of palpable excitement
gazing into my rainbow magic eye puzzle
a whirlpool of color
slowly revealing a hidden image

This imagery is stunning! It’s giving me major coloring vibes—especially in those dreamy purple and blue hues.
I love your imagery here! It also really makes me want to do some colouring in purple 💜 💙
Coloring everyday a little, makes me happy.
