“Cold as Dew”
Cold as the morning dew is how I feel when I’m with you
I once felt I could never blue but now, I know it's not true
Somehow it feels like I have lost you amongst the sands of time
The grains have distance set between and the unease of empty seams
I tried so hard and gave every ounce just to be there for you
Now it seems that I could have done anything and would still have lost you
One day I hope to once again find you amongst these hollow screams
I’ll shed not a single tear more, nor bleed a drop more, hoping to find you
