Your Brain On Learning

By M.g.MPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Echoes of the environment
Perk my awareness
Too often a trigger is set
Dismissive my take
Realigning clarity

Adhd or dillusional drfting?
The echoes a constant norm.
Sensible sounds in daily doses.
Or strangely a Dr’s Misdiagnosis?
Once taught how sacred is thought,
Only obliviated by manic madness.

So what can be told of quackery and science?
Medical scripts and blackboard formulas?
Silence the voice and blackout thought?
Perhaps this understanding was taught?

The brain be a sponge,
Term shrink is expunge.
Thirst for wisdom and knowledge,
This shall fill your brain, but will you acknowledge?

Will you acknowledg
Will you acknow
Will you ac
Will you

This is some deep stuff. The talk about the brain as a sponge makes me think of how we're constantly absorbing new info. But the question of misdiagnosis is huge. I've seen cases where symptoms were misread. How do we tell if it's really ADHD or something else? And what about that line about silencing the voice? It's really thought-provoking.
