Codfish

Learning to Swim

By Lora ComoPublished about a year ago 1 min read

When you are washed away by the tides of life,

Swallowed whole by the anonymity of the sea,

Forgotten about,

-as meaningless as codfish-,

-Battered and bloodied by the ruthless ocean

Remember;

I will be waiting

when you wash ashore.
