CNA Love

We run all over room to room trying to drag along empathy and sympathy

Trying always to make the host the time of empathy

So many strings tugging pulling us to those in need

Always in the wind of emotions flying like a reed

Come to work saddened but go in a room smiling for comfort

Our souls roaring forever triumphant

Go in half a person, give a quarter to leave a whole person

Always thinking you come out in a state of worsen

Although you just want to die

Patients can be uplifting as much as we let them be

And they are the reason they cry in joy, do not you agree

For them at times all they have is our positivity and upbeat spirits

A song that sings a beautiful array of lyrics

We live separate lives from work but every day we bring a little work home nightly

Laying in bed thinking of the day we can only think that it was done so brightly

Our soul is embedded by others’ pain

Pain guides our soul to reign

We strive to always care for those around us because of the job and tasks we are given

Always loving to others and harder for us to be forgiven

We continue to reach into others and give them the much-needed help

Feeling its so and letting the pain give us skelp

We are better people with the help of those we lift

Not realizing that we are actually such a gift
