Poofy white cumulous clouds build in the sky
like plump snowmen with jaggedy bulges at their waist
Taller and higher they push to the jet zone, yet
sneaking toward them from their east are
vicious, dark gray clouds, holding moisture and pulling
the white puffballs
magnets, slowly absorbing them
The western sky is obliterated by
charcoal clouds, moisture drops enlarging within them and
blocking sunlight,
enhancing the threatening ebony umbrella
White cumulous gone, turned into blackened pancakes before the drench

I don't know how I missed this before a month. However, liked it.
Awesome story I like it congratulations 🎉🎉
This was a lovely read Andrea, and you create a vivid picture of the gathering storm. “blackened pancakes” and “charcoal clouds” are excellent descriptors 👏

Fluffy white joy surrendering to towering terror. Clouds really do run the gamut. Lovely reminder of the beauty and threat of nature's weather. Well done!. Those photo's are amazing! Wonderful artistry!
Andrea, this is lovely. I feel like the clouds are adversaries, like humans, because we are all part of nature and are here to survive.
