Click, click, reset, now’s the time to let go, remove the sorrows, all the woes from my mind forever,

but I don’t know whether to start from the beginning, or the end, all I know is that I want to mend,

for real this time.

Click, click reset, press the button, this is the end, the end of a cycle that’s been going on for too long, like a bad song playing over and over again in my head,

never again, please, never again.

Click, click reset, check in - how I’m doin’? Is the good that I see just an illusion, am I deluded?

Hmm, maybe but all I know is that I’m ready for peace,

a piece of my mind for resting time, to mend, think ahead and leave the past behind,

for real this time.

Click, click, reset.

Click click reset. I like seeing you pick yourself up and writing this poem as your journey towards that goal. The words you use in your repeats are always so catchy, hard hitting and effective in the way they inspire and convey your meaning. 👌🏽

Hey, my friend from Down Under, how the hell are you, Ms. Boyes? You've been missed—your absence noted, by me at the very least. This was great, though full of that confusion that comes from when you want to start again afresh but aren't sure if you're ending or starting again, lol. It was good and hope you're okay and I'd assume given the way you mix the real with the poetic, that this is based on real thing? I hope things turn around for you!
