silence
my enemy and friend
as I sit and contemplate
violence
how can one defend
actions that will decimate
guidance
toward a better end
living in a golden state
reliance
on those who do pretend
they care about your fate
tyrants
with their lies they ascend
to unjustly allocate
sirens
they come to apprehend
those who do not acclimate
compliance
for war to overspend
as living costs inflate
defiance
love and peace transcend
through action they create
science
some greedily contend
while the corrupt debate
alliance
corporate shills attend
efforts made to sedate
aspirants
elites mock and condescend
as our wages stagnate
contrivance
