Just a few more Chrissy poems before I sign off for the year. Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas.

Waiting

She tried to stay in good spirits

but each Christmas the heart grew numb

she waited - Anticipated

but true love never did come

The body grew old and weary

the bones did rattle and shake

her hope did dwindle away

and the heart did finally break

Waiting & lonely for so many years

wishing and hoping for Love

sadness entered her soul

until she entered heaven above

Now she can celebrate Christmas

her waiting days are done

surrounded by her loved ones

her days now bright and fun.
