Christmas Is Special

It surely is - for kids and adults.

By Darla M SeelyPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Christmas - a time to share joy;

Receive as well as give,

People hustle to the stores.

They look for and buy gifts from the heart.

People give strangers the coats off their backs.

Kids buy gifts with hard-earney money.

There's concerts, pageants we see;

Music, songs which fill our hearts with peace.

Friends and families share memories;

Both recent and from long ago.

These can last a lifetime.

There's photos and games people play.

Bows and ribbons are on the gifts.

Many of them are handmade.

There is laughter, smiles on our faces;

So many decorated trees

Children believe in Santa Claus,

And get to sit on his knee.

Sometimes Christmas is filled with snow;

Freezing temps and a crisp breeze.
