Choice And Circumstance
Real Poetic's One Year Anniversary Acrostic Challenge

A brand
New fear has been unlocked, I've
Never felt this one before
Imagination overload as
Visions creep across the floor
Entering my darkest thoughts
Revisiting my deepest dreams
Satan dressed in satin, sprawled half naked
Across my sheets
Roseries and fine wine, can't abolish what will be, when
You live your life on replay, the crap you did, runs on repeat

I'm sure many of us would find this relatable. Loved your poem!
I could do without the shame memory loop. That’s for sure. You have shined a spot light on a very human fear, Kelli. Very well done!
Yes, still one way to look at anniversary.
Bahhhh 🐑 meep meep
Now that's a SLAM! Woot! Woot! You are improving your skills Kelli! 😂
The lines "Imagination overload as visions creep across the floor", creates a sense of unease and mounting dread....A bone-chilling and thought-provoking poem... I loved it 😊
