"Childhood" by Shahzad Ahmed Sheikh
Nurture and cherish memories of every moment of childhood,
It was blissful to be part of brotherhood.
It was a time of perfect gullibility,
It was a time of whole suitability.
Remember the cosy lapse of mother,
Remember the warm hug of grandmother.
Cracking jokes and cracking peanuts all together,
It was a realm of solace altogether.
My advice: stick to your past delight,
Never cut a sorry figure and resort to flight.
Take pride in your ancestors' possession,
You need to remain with all passion.
