The chickens come out
Scratch, scratch, eating up all the wheat
The children giggle
*
When the sun comes up
Chickens come out from roosting
Chasing down the bugs
** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
When the sunrises
The chickens wake-up
The rooster crows
Cock-a doodle-doo
Waking the farmer up
The farmer’s children go out
And feed the chickens their grain
Scratch, scratch, scratch
Cluck, cluck, cluck
Goes the hen
Cheep, cheep, cheep
The chicks run around crazy
The chickens chase a grasshopper
The chicks find a worm
As the sun starts to set
The chickens go home and roost
All in the day of the life of a chicken
** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
With buckets full of wheat seeds
*
The children giggle as they feed
**
Chickens and chicks gather all around.
***
Scratch, scratch, scratch, cluck, cluck, cluck
****
The chicks peep out from under.
*****
Clawed talons scratching up the seeds.

you have such a vivid imagination! you are so gifted, loved it :))
At this point, I have no idea why I get so excited when I see your 6W6L format, lol! All were fantastic but that was my favourite!
Fabulous!!! This would make a wonderful children's book!!! Loved it!!!
Nice!!
A delightful story that paints a vivid picture of the daily life of chickens on the farm, with charming imagery and sounds that capture the essence of their routines.
You left out lopping off their heads and chasing the headless bodies so the soup could be made. Ah, picturesque farm life!
I guess you like farms, I love the pics. I like country life, not born to be a city kid. Sigh. I enjoyed the childish nature of this.

Loved the onomatopoeia in this one-Really made the chicks come to life! Feel like I may be missing the metaphor somewhat 🤍
