Cheesecake Day

A poem

Tread softly in the kitchen, speak low,

the oven mustn't be disturbed.

Heavy footsteps are taboo

with the cheesecake setting

to its gelatinous perfection.

The key ingredients are timing

and a quiet environment.

Like a watched pot won't boil,

a cheesecake baking must

never be disturbed.
