Chartreuse gloves

7th Avenue Subway

Slide trombone resonance on subway cars

Evening sunglasses mud sweatpants

Tar floor universe chartreuse gloves

Matador eyeing back line pawns into islands

Cloy tongue pith sheet

Silver hall voices echo out white light

Music rain flailing dawn breaths

Into the room shoeless and wry

Symposium steps limber and drawn

Cut away the rhythm in yawns

Stray prisms in tones stay filling morose

The clatter and shake last Saturdays wake

Late shade featherback piercing silent still

To let your smile break into your age and leave

All of the thoughts spin particles of miles

And they're mirror & were mere

Better than a beggar in the turn style seething

Pitch lips mumble tense into silence

Sent for deciding or dead

Cater to the right side of beds

Please stand away from the platform edge

surreal poetry
