Charlie The Monkey

Too much monkey business

By Marie381Uk Published about a year ago 1 min read
It’s cool being a monkey sitting in a tree

In a bustling old town, with streets made of stone,

Lived a monkey named Charlie, who’d often roam alone.

With a sly little wink and a banana in hand,

He pranced through the market, oh wasn’t he grand!

He’d juggle some apples, he’d dance on a cart,

And tease all the vendors, who’d laugh at his art.

He’d snatch a ripe donut and give it a bite,

Then he’d wink at a child—oh, what a delight!

One day in the square, he put on a show,

With a top hat and cane, he stole the whole flow.

“Step right up, ladies! Come take a good look,

At a monkey magician from a storybook!”

He’d pull out a rabbit, then trip on his shoe,

The crowd laughed, they didn’t know what to do!

Charlie just chuckled, all covered in fluff,

“Being a funny monkey? It’s really quite tough!”

So next time you’re out in the town full of cheer,

Keep an eye out for Charlie, he might just appear.

With a smile and a wink, he’ll brighten your day,

This mischievous monkey will always find play
