I studied a picture of us, the last one we ever took

and I tasted blood, the crimson memories of

your teeth sinking into my shoulders

how I ruined that lustful silence with a simple gasp

and how your indentations left hints of pomegranate

About the Creator

Daniel K

I write love poems about the girl who has a hold over my heart and my life in such a way that neither are my own anymore. The girl I would choose over and over and over again. I love her, and that is the beginning and end of everything.
