away

for quite some time

unlike apples

you have fallen

far

from my tree

your autumn leaves

scattered

perhaps I lost my touch

maybe my branches weren't STRONG enough

for you to hold onto

maybe they wouldn’t be called leaves

if they didn’t leave

but I'll never stop

making snow angels

in your pile of

About the Creator

Daniel K

I write love poems about the girl who has a hold over my heart and my life in such a way that neither are my own anymore. The girl I would choose over and over and over again. I love her, and that is the beginning and end of everything.
