What colour is Ginger?
We aren't people of colour
We're people, just people
Skin tones won't matter
Without political will.
Outside we all measure
Various tones that don't matter
We're all rainbows of treasure
So let free the paint spatter.
So sometimes we're blue
Mad or blush our red face
Filled with green envy too
We're all from one place.
Emotions get coloured
But what of our skin
Are we so pathetic
That we can't see within?
The soul is transparent
The heart's blood is red
Colours don't matter
With no crib for a bed.
You are what you are
You ain't what you ain't
See past the colour
Try changing your paint.
